I’m a lucky Audio Book narrator.
I narrate audio books and I love it. Aside from being a part of the amazing voiceover community, narrating audio books is the most gratifying part of my career. I was a theater major in college so narrating an audio book gives me the chance to act and I’m always grateful for the opportunity. With that in mind, I’m thrilled to share that a full-cast audio book I’m in has been nominated for an Audie Award! The Audies are like the Oscars for audio books, BTW.
It’s called “Anne Manx and the Blood Chase” and it’s up for Best Audio Drama.

Congrats to Larry M. Weiner and my good friend Angelo Panetta for being recognized for their many years of hard work. Also, congrats to my friends Johnny Heller, Dion Graham, Katherine Kellgren, Xe Sands, Jeff Kafer, and everyone else who was nominated. Fingers crossed!
TIP OF THE WEEK
I try to stay away from the “me me me” blog posts but I’m very proud of the nomination and once in a while it’s okay to toot your own horn so nyah. No, I’m not the only narrator in the audio book but moments like this remind me how lucky I am to be part of the voiceover community and work with such amazing people.
NEVER, EVER take what we do for granted. It’s a privilege to be a voice talent when there are so many people out there who hate what they do or can’t find work at all. Count your blessings and keep it real!

STUFF!: I watched bits & pieces of the SNL 40th anniversary special. It was crazy seeing so many cast members in the same place! I especially enjoyed seeing Paul Simon and Paul McCartney perform. He didn’t do this one, but this is one of my favorite Paul Simon songs. Enjoy!
